First and foremost, I believe therapy should be an empowering and collaborative experience. At the heart of my practice is the belief that each person is worthy and capable of healing. Whatever you are carrying into therapy, you are welcome here just as you are.
I work with people who want to creatively engage with their healing process. Creativity can include many forms of artistic expression, though it can also be the way we live, how we make choices, how we make sense of our lives and this world, and ways that we find to make change. People I work with often feel stuck and want a way to move forward. Maybe you are experiencing anxiety, depression, overwhelm or relationship difficulties. Maybe you are grieving a loss that has impacted your sense of self, are struggling to set boundaries, or perhaps you have experienced trauma, recognize it is impacting your life, but don't know what to do about it.
My approach to therapy is based on the belief that we can't always talk our way through these experiences. Art therapy can provide an additional way to explore and feel our way through, it can hold parts of our experiences that cannot be put into words. Art therapy can help people heal trauma, discover new ways to cope, and nurture rest, recovery, and wellbeing.
Welcome Here Psychotherapy
Welcome Here Psychotherapy is inspired by the tremendous courage it takes to allow vulnerability to be witnessed, and the fullness and complexity of being human. Welcome Here is an invitation to allow your messy, vulnerable, imperfect humanness to be held with gentleness and compassion.
Welcome Here Psychotherapy is based on an integrative approach by combining talk, art, somatic, and nature-based therapies, offering a holistic psychotherapy experience. My practice is based on trauma, attachment and nervous-system informed perspectives, with a commitment to feminist, anti-oppressive practice and cultural humility.
Services
Initial Consultation
The therapeutic relationship is very important in psychotherapy. Healing happens in relationship, and most especially within a therapeutic relationship.
I invite you to connect with me for a free 20-30 minute conversation where you can get a sense of who I am and how I work. During this conversation I like to hear about what is bringing you to therapy, what you are looking for, and what your goals for healing are. This helps me to make sure that the support you require is within my scope of practice, and it can help you to make an informed decision about starting therapy with me.
Individual Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy sessions provide an opportunity for you to explore and work through difficult feelings, thoughts, and experiences in a safe, accepting, and confidential space, using a combination of talk-therapy and/or creative approaches.

Art-Based Wellness Workshop
Wellness workshops have a focus on art practice as a form of self-care. These sessions are not psychotherapy This is the place for you to explore creativity and develop an art-based practice—not to process trauma, address mental health concerns, or commit to an ongoing therapy process. Wellness workshops can be for groups or individuals. Some themes might include community or team building, developing an art-based self-care practice, or just having some space to explore different art mediums.
I may offer workshops with a specific focus, or I can create one specific to your needs (individual or workplace)
Please connect with me for pricing and details.
Sessions can be in-person or virtual.
